In 2004 the Fellowship was granted to:

  • Prof. Wolfgang HESS, Universität Bonn, Kommunikationsforschung und Phonetik, for four-months research at the Adam Mickiewicz University Institute of Linguistics, Poznañ;
  • Prof. Gerhard DZIUK, Universität Freiburg, Abteilung für Angewandte Mathematik, for twelve-months stay at the Warsaw University Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling and at the WU Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics;
  • Prof. Heinz KNEIP, University of Regensburg, for six-months research stay at the Academy of International Studies in £ód¼.

In 2003 the Fellowship was granted to:

  • Prof. Ulrike JEKUTSCH, Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald, Institut für Slawistik, for 12 months' stay at the University of Szczecin Institute of Polish Philology;
  • Prof. Herbert MAYR, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Department Chemie, München, for 5 months' stay at the PAS Institute of Organic Chemistry;
  • Prof. Michael MÜLLER-WILLE, Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Institut für Ur-und Frühgeschichte, for 4 months' stay at the Warsaw University Institute of Archaeology, and the PAS Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology;
  • Prof. Burkhard SCHARF, UFZ-Umweltforschungszentrum Leipzig-Halle GmbH, Sektion Gewässerforschung, Magdeburg, for 4 months' stay at the University of Szczecin Natural Science Faculty.

In 2002 the Fellowship was granted to:

  • Prof. Geerd ALBERTI from University of Greifswald, for six months' research stay at the Institute of Environmental Biology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznañ;
  • Prof. Ernst ROECKL from Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung mbH and Mainz University, for twelve months' research stay at the Faculty of Physics, Warsaw University.

In 2001 the Fellowship was granted to:

  • Prof. Horst LANGE-BERTALOT, from Botanisches Institut, Goethe-Universität, for a research stay in the Marine Studies Institute, Natural Science Faculty of the University of Szczecin;
  • Prof. Manfred DENKER, from Institut für Mathematische Stochastik, Universität Göttingen, for a research stay in the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruñ and the PAS Institute of Mathematics in Warsaw;
  • Prof. Peter HÄNGGI, from Institut für Physik, Universität Augsburg, for a research stay at the Institute of Physics of the University of Silesia, Katowice;
  • Prof. Robert Arthur SCHWARZER, from Institut für Physik und Physikalische Technologien, Technische Universität Clausthal, for a research stay in the PAS Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering in Kraków;
  • Prof. Karl Gerd RUDOLPH, from Institut für Theoretische Physik, Universität Leipzig, for a research stay in the PAS Centre for Theoretical Physics in Warsaw.

In 2000 the Fellowship was granted to:

  • Prof. Karl Hugo MAIER, from Hahn-Meitner Institut Berlin GmbH, for six months' research at the Department of Nuclear Spectroscopy, H. Niewodniczañski Institute of Nuclear Physics in Kraków,
  • Prof. Geerd H.F. DIERCKSEN, Max-Planck-Institut, Garching near München, for twelve months' research at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy, Nicholas Copernicus University in Toruñ.

In 1999 the Fellowship was granted to:

  • Prof. Klaus HAFNER, from the Institute of Organic Chemistry, Technical University Darmstadt, for four months' research at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of Polish Academy of Sciences;
  • Prof. Walter GLÖCKLE, Institute für Theoretische Physik II, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, for twelve months' research at the Institute of Physic of the Jagiellonian University;
  • Prof. Josef KÖHRLE, from Medizinische Poliklinik, University of Wuerzburg, for four months' research at the University Medical School of Warsaw and the PAS Medical Research Center.

In 1998 the Honorary Fellowships was granted to:

  • Prof. Rainer KASSING, Institute of Technical Physics, University of Kassel, for twelve months' research at the Wroc³aw Technical University Faculty of Electronics;
  • Prof. Kolumban HUTTER, Institut für Mechanik, Technische Hochschule in Darmstadt, for five months' research at the PAS Institute of Fundamental Technological Research in Warsaw;
  • Prof. Hans Guenter NATKE, Curt-Risch-Institute Fuer Dynamik, University of Hannover, for four months' research at the Institute of Applied Mechanics, Poznañ University of Technology;
  • Prof. Rainer M. LIEDER, Institut für Keruphysik, Forschungszentrum Julich, for twelve months' research at the Warsaw University;
  • Prof. Fritz HAAKE, Fachbereich 7 Physik, Essen Universität, for four months' research at the Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University in Cracow;
  • Prof. Hans BUFLER, Institute für Mechanics (Bauwesen), Stuttgart Universität, for five and a half months' research stay at the Warsaw University Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics.

In 1997 this fellowship was granted to Prof. Dietmar GROSS of the Institute of Mechanics at the Technische Hochschule in Darmstadt for six months' research at the PAS Institute of Fundamental Technological Research in Warsaw.

In 1996 this fellowship was granted to Prof. Dieter FICK of the Marburg University, for six months' research at the Institute of Nuclear Research in ¦wierk.
