The grants awarded by FNP between 1991 and 1999 for the purchase
of modern equipment and appliances for the best research teams
representing various selected fields of study resulted in a
notable improvement in the grantees' working conditions and
potential. This in turn brought about a dynamic development
of research projects, culminating in new findings of a world
standard.
The grants towards the purchase of specialised equipment awarded
in subsequent annual programmes under this scheme have exceeded
70mil zlotys.
