The results of the projects should influence the country’s socio-economic development and fit within a National Smart Specialization. The participation of a foreign research partner in project implementation is also mandatory. Projects can be implemented not only in scientific institutions, but also in enterprises and science-and-industry consortia. Grants can be obtained for 3 years, with the possibility of extending them up to 2 additional years.
