2010 - Prof. Maciej Żylicz on the reform of the higher education system

The cornerstone and specific regulations of the proposed reform of the Polish higher education system and the planned reform of science have evoked a lively discussion in Poland that has been going on for quite some time. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has lately presented a new concept of the first reform. Reactions of the Polish academic society towards the concept have varied a lot : starting with supportive attitudes through indifference and ending with huge disapproval.
