NOVUM Programme
The programme was closed in 2008.
Funds dedicated to support outstanding scientific initiatives, which cannot obtain funding from other sources and which are not covered by the other FNP programmes
Through this programme Foundation is able to quickly and flexibly react to the versatile scientific initiatives which cannot receive funding from other sources.
The Foundation does not determine either activities or areas that are to be funded- each application is considered on an individual basis, taking into account scientific record of the research team and scientific excellence of the proposed initiative.
Below please find some exemplary activities which can obtain funding within the NOVUM programme:
- construction of a brand new research facility necessary to carry out a groundbreaking scientific project,
- minor modernisation of a laboratory,
- short-term visits both locally and abroad,
- inviting the eminent scientists from abroad for short visits to Poland.
Analogously to other programmes, the Foundation supports only the best research teams under the frame of the NOVUM programme.
