The Foundation has chosen the beneficiaries in the latest edition of the PARENT/BRIDGE programme for parents returning to research after a period spent taking care of a child.
Candidates submitted 133 applications. Taking into account the recommendations of reviewers panel, The Foundation?s Executive Board has chosen 15 beneficiaries in the programme for the Bio, Info, Techno fields. They will receive funding totalling almost 4 million zlotys for their projects.
The funding awarded to researchers who are mothers finances a research grant and personal stipends for a maximum of three supervisees (graduate or PhD students). The total sum for the two parts, research and personal stipend, is up to 140,000 zlotys per year.
The call for applications for the 8th and final edition of the PARENT/BRIDGE programme begins on 14 August 2013 and ends on 15 October 2013. The 8th edition is exclusively for researchers representing the Bio, Info, Techno categories.

* The PARENT-BRIDGE programme within the Bio, Info, Techno categories is co-financed with European Union funding from the European Regional Development Fund. Projects from scientific fields other than Bio, Techno, Info are financed from the Foundation?s own funds.
