Applications in the 8th and final edition of the HOMING PLUS and PARENT-BRIDGE* programmes (in the Bio, Info, Techno categories) will be accepted from 14 August to 15 October 2013. 

The HOMING PLUS programme offers support for innovative projects carried out by researchers holding doctoral degrees who recently returned to Poland or plan to do so. We encourage young PhDs from other countries interested in a postdoctoral fellowship in Poland to apply as well. Beneficiaries receive a research subsidy of up to 80,000 zlotys per year and a personal stipend of 5,000 zlotys per month. Projects in the programme?s final edition will receive support in the total amount of 3 million zlotys.

Researchers who are parents and hold at least a doctoral degree are encouraged to submit applications in the PARENT-BRIDGE programme enabling them to return to research after a period spent taking care of a young child. Funding in the programme is provided for a research grant and personal stipends for a maximum of three persons remaining under the beneficiary?s supervision. The total sum for the two parts, research and personal stipend, is up to 140,000 zlotys per year. Projects in the programme?s final edition will receive support in the total amount of 2.5 million zlotys.
