We hereby announce that in connection with launch of the ?Premia na Horyzoncie? programme planned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Foundation will no longer consider applications for the ?Ideas for Poland? programme filed by winners of competitions for ERC Starting Grants conducted by the European Research Council as part of the Horizon 2020 programme. Only winners of ERC Starting Grants in the EU?s 7th Research Framework Programme will be eligible to apply for funding.

On 6 November 2015 the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education was signed concerning launch of the ?Premia na Horyzoncie? programme, under which researchers pursuing projects from Horizon 2020 will be able to receive funding to cover additional costs connected with conduct of their research projects. In connection with official announcement of the launch of this ministry programme, the Foundation will no longer be considering applications from winners of ERC Starting Grants awarded under Horizon 2020. However, the offer remains in place for winners of ERC Starting Grants awarded in competitions in the EU?s 7th Research Framework Programme who meet the conditions of the programme.
