Foundation for Polish Science joins Science Europe

On 30 November 2017, the Foundation for Polish Science joined Science Europe, a group of European organizations leading or funding scientific research.

Science Europe was established in 2011 with the aim of increasing the opportunities for cooperation between national public research organizations, representing the interests of the European research community, and contributing to the ongoing development of research policy in Europe. The association now includes over 40 institutions from 27 European countries. All the member organizations share the common mission of conducting or financing research characterized by scientific excellence. The members of Science Europe include such organizations as the French Agence nationale de la recherche, the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Max Planck Society, the Medical Research Council from the UK, the Research Council of Norway (Norges forskningsr?d), and the Swiss National Science Foundation.
