INTER 2014 ? recruitment begins!

We encourage you to submit applications in the third edition of the INTER programme organized as part of the FNP’s SKILLS project*. The programme comprises training courses taught by the best Polish and international specialists and a science popularization competition.

The programme?s participants will be able to take part in training courses on interdisciplinary cooperation and science popularization. These will help them prepare an application for the science popularization competition in which the finalists will present their fascinating interdisciplinary research projects in front of an audience and the competition committee.

The winners will receive the following prizes: PLN 120,000 (1st prize), PLN 100,000 (2nd prize) and PLN 80,000 (3rd prize). Each prize consists of two parts: 80% is a grant for carrying out the presented research project while 20% is a personal stipend for the prize-winner.

The audience will also choose their favourite ? the winner of the audience poll will receive a prize of PLN 10,000.

The programme is available to scientists at the start of their careers representing any field of research:

  • PhD students from Polish research units who reside in Poland,
  • research workers with a doctoral degree who reside in Poland and are employed under an employment contract at a research unit based in the Republic of Poland ? up to 6 years from their PhD,
  • graduates of PhD studies up to 12 months from obtaining their doctoral degree who want to carry out their project at a research unit based in the Republic of Poland.

The application period for the INTER programme lasts from 3 February to 14 March 2014.
