The Foundation for Polish Science with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) jointly organize a workshop for PhD students on writing successful grant proposals in an international context. There are still a few places available – we cordially invite to participate. Registration is open till September 15th.

The workshop is a joint initiative of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Foundation for Polish Science. It is intended for PhD students who have been financially supported by DAAD or FNP.

The workshop program concentrates on the most important aspects of writing an excellent proposal, which are also the big challenges for first proposal writers. It covers questions like: funding opportunities on European level and their meaning for a career in research, the project design, the grant proposal writing process, the evaluation processes, the communication with the reviewer, the core elements of a successful proposal.

The workshop includes a panel discussion, presentations, group work and individual work. It is interactive and requires active participation.


It will take place on September 29th, 2023, between 9.00 and 16.30 in Warsaw. It will be conducted in English. Participation is free of charge.
