Live coverage of the 2024 Polish-French Science Award ceremony

You are cordially invited to the live coverage of the 2024 Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie Polish-French Science Award ceremony! The ceremony will take place on October 10, 2024 at 1 pm. We will be streaming the event live on our YouTube channel.

The award was created in 2019 and is presented by the Foundation for Polish Science and the French Academy of Sciences. The award aims to support and promote Polish–French scientific cooperation.

The 2024 award went to Professor Denis Jacquemin (Université de Nantes and Institut Universitaire de France) and Professor Daniel Gryko (Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences). The winners were recognized for their work on organic synthesis and quantum mechanical calculations of dyes. Their joint research has resulted in the development of high-performance fluorescent dyes. Each winner will receive EUR 15,000 as part of the award. The award is jointly funded by the Foundation for Polish Science and the Zygmunt ZaleskiStichting.
