We hereby announce that the deadline for submitting applications for the programme for young researchers and startups implemented by MIT Enterprise Forum Poland has been extended to 31 January 2016.

The purpose of the program is to support startups and young researchers on the path from discovery to effective commercialization of their technology. Participants will gain the support of an international team of mentors and experts. The program will include workshops led by experienced trainers and educational sessions on law, taxation, funding, and investor relations. Each team will be guided by two mentors?one from Poland and one from abroad.

Teams taking part in the program will have the opportunity to network with innovation entrepreneurs from Poland and the international innovation community connected with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Participants will also have the chance to meet with investors and cooperate with the media, including MIT Technology Review?a magazine devoted to new technologies. The accelerator program will conclude in the second half of 2016 with a session at MIT in the United States.

The program is offered by MIT Enterprise Forum Poland, part of the global network of the MIT Enterprise Forum (MIT EF). MIT EF is affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the world?s leading tech university. MIT EF, founded in 1978, is the world?s only university-affiliated non-profit organization with the mission of supporting tech entrepreneurship. An effective startup support community has grown up around MIT, and there are over 25,000 affiliated firms.

The application deadline is 31 January 2016.
