We present the FNP Annual Report, which outlines our activities in 2022. As in previous years, the document reports on our statutory activities in 2022, providing a summary financial statement and an auditor?s report, along with a supplement that presents some of the FNP?s initiatives and the research achievements of selected winners of the Foundation?s competitions.
The Report?s cover is decorated this year with an artist?s impression showing a free-floating black hole wandering in the Milky Way against the background of the stars of the Galactic Center. The discovery of the first such object was announced in June 2022 by two international teams of astronomers, with the leading role of the Polish astronomers? OGLE project marshaled by Professor Andrzej Udalski, winner of the FNP Prize.
