The Foundation is now accepting applications for the START programme (2015 edition). The START scholarship is an award for the most talented young researchers, presented in recognition of their accomplishments to date.
The main assessment criteria for the competition are therefore the quality and originality of the candidate’s previous work and major scientific achievements. Young scholars interested in entering the competition for a one-year scientific stipend of 28,000 PLN (which can be spent as the recipient wishes) should look at the Competition regulations and Application completion instructions which can be found on the Polish programme website. These include detailed information on the application evaluation criteria and procedure, as well as an outline of the various stages of the competition.
Candidates for the START programme may also apply for additional funds to cover a short-term study trip to a selected research institution abroad. Funding of the study trip is awarded to beneficiaries after adjudication of the START competition on the basis of the criteria outlined in the Application completion instructions.
Applications for the START competition 2015 must be submitted by 31 October 2014.
We wish all candidates the best of luck!
