Applications for training courses for researchers in the commercialization of scientific research and entrepreneurship (FastTrac? TechVenture?) are being accepted until 12 September 2013.

The courses, which will take place from October to December 2013, are intended for people who have an idea for a business, would like to commercialize it, and are willing to establish a business (or who already have one) for this purpose. The courses will teach the participants how to present their projects to external investors ? Business Angels as well as Seed and Venture Capital funds that finance projects in their early stage of development. The aim of the courses is to maximize the participants? chances for obtaining external funding for their projects. The training will help the participants assess whether they have a well thought-out project ? by highlighting its weaknesses and strengths.

This is a proposal for researchers living in Poland and working under an employment contract at a research unit based in the Republic of Poland as well as PhD students living in Poland and affiliated with Polish research units.

FastTrac? is a comprehensive programme that prepares participants for the commercialization of their business ideas by teaching them to develop a complete business plan and an investor presentation. The FastTrac? TechVenture? training programme was developed by the Kauffman Foundation on the basis of many years of experience (more than 17 years, almost 300,000 course participants).
