
We invite you to a live broadcast of the COPERNICUS Polish-German Research Award ceremony, which will happen on June 9 at 6 p.m.
The COPERNICUS Award has been awarded since 2006 by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP). The prize is awarded every two years to a pair of cooperating outstanding scientists, one from Poland and one from Germany.
Thanks to the COPERNICUS Award, we support and promote Polish-German scientific cooperation and the resulting exceptional research achievements.
During the upcoming ceremony, the Award will be given to the winners of the 2022 competition: Prof. Krystyna Radziszewska from the University of Łódź and Prof. Sascha Feuchert from the University of Gießen; the prize was awarded to them for research on literary testimonies from the Jewish ghetto in Łódź.
The award will also be given to the winners of the 2020 competition: Prof. Sebastian Faust from the Darmstadt University of Technology and Prof. Stefan Dziembowski from the University of Warsaw; the prize was awarded to them for excellent research in the field of cryptography and IT security.
