Winners of the MASTER/MISTRZ programme who have completed implementation of their project can now apply for a sabbatical fellowship for a stay at a selected foreign institution. Applications will be accepted from now until 7 June 2018.
A fellowship of up to ? 5,500 per month may be awarded for a period of 3 to 6 months.
To apply for a fellowship, winners should fill out the application form on the Foundation?s website. Fellowships will be awarded on the basis of a competition. Every formally correct application will be evaluated by at least two reviewers, most of them foreign. They will consider primarily the candidate?s scientific accomplishments to date and scientific activity during the past five years, the research plan the candidate intends to pursue during the fellowship, and the standing of the foreign research institution. Decisions on selection of the winners will be made by the Board of the Foundation. The competition is held once per year. Up to three fellowships may be awarded annually in the programme.
The offer of sabbatical fellowships was launched in 2011. During the first three editions, fellowships were awarded to eleven winners, who pursued their research projects at renowned institutions in such countries as the US, the UK and Germany.
We encourage you to review the programme rules and the programme guide (a joint document for applicants and reviewers in English).
