Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), known as the ?GDPR?, entered into effect on 25 May 2018. The main aim of the GDPR is to update the regulations governing the protection of personal data in the European Union.

We hereby inform you that in compliance with GDPR guidelines, we have updated all of our procedures connected with protection of personal data.

We also inform you that all consents you have provided us for processing of your personal data remain valid. We would only like to remind you that you have consented to processing of your personal data by the Foundation for Polish Science as the data controller (registered office: ul. Ignacego Krasickiego 20/22, 02-611 Warsaw, entered in the Register of Associations, Other Social and Professional Organizations, Foundations and Independent Public Healthcare Facilities by the Warsaw District Court, 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS no. 0000109744, tax no. NIP 5260311952, statistical no. REGON 012001533).

We also inform you that the Foundation for Polish Science has appointed a data protection officer. In all matters relating to processing of personal data or exercise of your rights related to processing of your personal data, you may contact the Foundation?s data protection officer by email: iodo@fnp.org.pl

You also have the right to access the personal data concerning you, to request rectification, removal or restriction of processing of the data, to object to processing of the data, and to request that your personal data be turned over to you. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted on the basis of the consent you provided prior to withdrawal of consent.

You also have a right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the president of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Your submission of personal data is voluntary.
